Key job responsibilities
  • Drive digital transformation through meaningful engagement with C-level executives, IT leaders, architects, developers, and various lines of businesses within customers.
  • Represent the entire portfolio of AWS products and services across managed accounts within the Enterprise customer market segment.
  • Drive revenue and increase market share in a defined set of accounts.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and monthly revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute a plan to grow the AWS footprint within selected accounts.
  • Manage multiple accounts concurrently and strategically.
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
  • Accelerate customer adoption through well‑developed sales engagements and successful go‑to‑market strategies to achieve customer outcomes.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage contract negotiations.
  • Develop long‑term strategic relationships with key accounts.
A day in the life

You will be a critical part of a team focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services by developing a set of named customers. As an Enterprise Greenfield Account Manager at AWS, you will directly impact the growth and shape of emerging technologies by driving revenue, adoption, and market saturation in our largest customers, with an emphasis on growing accounts with minimal AWS adoption who have large spend potential.

Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C‑level executives.
  • Experience working with transformative technologies including cloud, IoT, business intelligence, and analytics.
  • Experience navigating prospective accounts from and into a senior executive level to identify new customer opportunities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non‑technical audiences, including senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in engineering, computer science, or MIS.
  • Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams.
  • AWS Professional level certification, or Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or related field.
  • Arabic speakers will be preferred.
