Job summary

atwad is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to design, develop, and test smart devices with advanced sensors in Dammam. You will choose microcontrollers, evaluate performance, and ensure sensor compatibility for reliable data collection.

You will interface sensors via I2C, SPI, CAN, and UART; contribute to PCB layout using Altium, Eagle, or KiCad; and provide technical support across product lifecycle while ensuring EMC and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field; master's preferred.
• At least 4 years hands-on electronics design experience for smart devices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test smart devices with sensor data collection.
• Select microcontrollers and evaluate performance and sensor compatibility.
• Evaluate sensor accuracy, power, and communication protocols.
• Interface sensors with microcontrollers via I2C, SPI, CAN, UART.
• PCB design and layout using Altium, Eagle, or KiCad.
• Provide technical support during development, manufacturing, and post-production.
• Stay updated with sensor tech trends to drive innovation.
• Ensure EMC, safety, and wireless protocol compliance.
• Prepare schematics, wiring diagrams, and code documentation.
