Job summary

Client of Eram Talent seeks an experienced Electrical Senior Estimation and Design Engineer Manager with 10 years of expertise in estimation, BOQ preparation and project bidding. You will lead sizing, calculations, and tender submissions for industrial and residential facilities.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, preparing SLDs, BOMs, and protection diagrams, coordinating with vendors and bidding teams, and ensuring compliance with international codes and standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in electrical estimation and design required.
• Experience with BOQs, quantity take-offs and bid preparation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design calculations and SLDs.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and specs to determine project scope and materials.
• Prepare BOQs from electrical drawings and SLDs for bids.
• Perform transformer, DG, cable sizing and protection calculations.
• Prepare layouts and SLDs using AutoCAD for projects.
• Coordinate with bidding team and vendors to optimize costs.

• Review and analyze project drawings specifications and requirements to determine project scope materials and equipment Perform quantity take-offs and determine material and resource requirements Prepare BOQs from MEP electrical drawings and Single Line Diagrams SLDs Prepare and review electrical design calculations drawings specifications and BOMs Prepare Protection Single Line Diagrams and ensure designs comply with applicable international codes and standards Perform electrical estimation and BOQ preparation for industrial and residential facilities Coordinate with the bidding team for project estimation and tender submissions Coordinate with vendors and negotiate pricing and commercial terms to achieve competitive project costs Carry out transformer sizing DG sizing load calculations cable sizing cable schedules circuit breaker sizing and protection system sizing Prepare electrical layouts and Single Line Diagrams using AutoCAD

Requirements

10+ years of relevant experience in Electrical Estimation and Design. Strong experience in BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and electrical estimation . Hands-on experience with SLD preparation and interpretation . Strong knowledge of electrical design calculations and equipment sizing. Experience working with MEP electrical drawings for industrial and residential projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD . Good understanding of international electrical codes and standards. Strong vendor coordination, negotiation, and bidding/tendering skills.
