Job summary

Albawani | البواني seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design and ensure successful site delivery on a Design & Build project in Riyadh. You will coordinate power distribution, lighting, ELV systems, and interfaces with architectural, structural, and mechanical teams.

You will review outputs, support construction, and ensure buildability, safety, and compliance with codes and contract requirements while mentoring engineers and driving timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10-12 years of relevant engineering experience in design, construction, or Design & Build environments.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary engineering deliverables including design drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
• Sound knowledge of building systems and discipline interfaces (architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical).
• Proficient in technical documentation, review workflows, and engineering coordination processes.
• Strong professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve electrical design outputs including drawings, models, specifications, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
• Ensure compliance with Employer’s Requirements, contract documents, codes, standards, and authority regulations.
• Identify and resolve design clashes, constructability issues, and interface risks across disciplines.
• Coordinate electrical activities with architectural, structural, mechanical, and other building systems.
• Validate buildability, safety, system performance, and operational suitability of electrical installations.
• Provide day-to-day electrical engineering leadership on site and address RFIs and technical queries.
• Review electrical works (power, lighting, ELV, earthing, containment systems) for compliance with drawings and specs.
• Identify and resolve site deviations and non-conformances with project teams.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of design information.
