Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all electrical engineering aspects of high-profile commercial and hospitality projects from concept through to handover.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision for the design and execution of electrical systems (HV, LV, ELV, lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, BMS, etc.).
• Review and approve electrical designs, shop drawings, technical submittals, and material specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements, local regulations, and international standards.
• Manage and supervise contractors and subcontractors on-site to ensure quality workmanship, adherence to schedules, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate closely with architects, structural engineers, mechanical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of MEP systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's Degree is an advantage).
• 15+ years of professional experience, with a strong focus on shopping malls, mixed-use developments, and hospitality projects.
• Proven experience in PMC roles, with the ability to manage consultants, contractors, and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations, building codes, and international standards for electrical systems.
• GCC experience is preferred.
