Job summary

Webook in Saudi Arabia seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to own deployment, automation, and reliability of production systems. You will drive CI/CD improvements, design scalable infrastructure, and collaborate across product, QA, and development teams to keep systems robust and secure.

The role requires experience with AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, and scripting across Unix/Linux environments, focusing on high-availability SaaS operations and automated recovery.

Qualifications

• Proven track record building and maintaining large-scale SaaS products.
• Experience delivering high-uptime SaaS applications in production.
• Ability to proactively manage tasks, projects, and issues.
• Experience with high-traffic production systems, troubleshooting and automation.
• Familiarity with web development build/deploy processes and tooling.
• Strong scripting and Unix-based system knowledge.
• Experience with version control and deployment/configuration tools.
• Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems concepts.
• GCP experience preferred; AWS DevOps certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Focus on scalability, robustness, and automation of tools and processes.
• Own deployment and optimization of production systems with ownership.
• Ensure support tools enable CI, testing, and production deployment.
• Shape and implement strategic solutions for bleeding-edge tech.
• Contribute to tech stack including web/API/DB performance and security.
• Ensure systems are operational, observable, and auto-recoverable.
• End-to-end development and production operations including monitoring.
• Improve DevOps tools, processes, and procedures continuously.
• Build, maintain, and scale infrastructure for production, QA and development.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD systems and write infrastructure docs.
