Jobgether is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Data) to join a lean, autonomous engineering team focused on cloud data cost optimization.

You will design backend and data-engineering capabilities, build pipelines, and create visualizations that clearly communicate performance and efficiency. This role emphasizes ownership, collaboration, and delivering customer value in a distributed, fast-moving startup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, focusing on backend and data engineering.
• Expertise with Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, dbt, Dagster, Snowflake.
• Strong English communication and ability to work in distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data cost management capabilities like forecasting and cost allocation.
• Develop backend and data-engineering solutions surface insights for customers.
• Build data pipelines and transformation models for new capabilities.
• Create data visualizations communicating performance, query timing, efficiency.
• Own features end-to-end from concept to release and iterate based on feedback.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders, review code and tests, document clearly.
