Job summary

Twelve Data, a remote-first company, is looking for a DevOps Engineer to help build and operate scalable, highly available data services. You will work on distributed systems, improve reliability, and contribute to capacity planning and automation across our backend stack.

The role emphasizes Linux administration, performance optimization, and collaboration with product teams to deliver robust data solutions for global clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/CE/ECE/EECS/IS/IT/MIS/MS&E or related fields.
• Proficiency in C++ and/or Python.
• Experience with Unix systems and virtualization.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and network technologies.
• Experience with highly loaded distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability of services, improve reliability and security.
• Identify and eliminate weak points, develop documentation and capacity plans.
• Develop components and tools that simplify work.
• Help develop new distributed systems.
• Administer Linux servers and related tasks.
