Job summary

SAUDI AIRLINES is seeking a Data Modeling Manager to lead enterprise data modeling, governance, and continuous improvement. You will work with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics teams to ensure scalable data structures that support BI, reporting, and decision-making.

The role requires extensive experience in data modeling, architecture, and governance, with hands-on tool proficiency and the ability to mentor teams and align with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years in data modeling/architecture/warehousing.
• Experience with conceptual/logical/physical data models.
• Hands-on with relational DBs, data warehouses, and analytic platforms.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, data integration and governance.
• Experience with data modeling tools (ER/Studio, SAP PowerDesigner).
• Ability to translate complex requirements into scalable data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Define and maintain data modeling standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into models.
• Design scalable data structures for data warehouses and analytics platforms.
• Ensure data models support BI, reporting, and analytics.
• Review models and ensure alignment with architecture and governance.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to modeling teams.
• Evaluate new modeling approaches and technologies.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
