Job summary

Intelmatix in Riyadh is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the design and delivery of an enterprise-grade Data Lakehouse, supporting AI agents, knowledge graphs, and analytics. You will architect secure, compliant data platforms with Medallion architecture, implement data quality gates, and mentor client teams through a co-build model to ensure long-term ownership.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering and hands-on experience with Spark, Delta Lake/ Iceberg, Airflow, and cloud

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years in Data Engineering, distributed systems or big data architecture.
2+ years leading Data Lakehouse or cloud data platform implementations.

Responsibilities

Lakehouse architecture and implementation using Bronze/Silver/Gold with open table formats in Saudi Arabia.
Data ingestion pipelines (batch/streaming) feeding AI models and knowledge graphs.
Data quality governance, end-to-end lineage, and automated circuit breakers.
Security/compliance with NCA/NDMO standards; AES-256, TLS 1.2+, KMS, audit logs.
RBAC/ABAC design integrated with Active Directory; handover and Game Day simulations.
