Job summary

ENGIE Solutions Middle East is seeking a Data Center Electrical Engineer in Riyadh to oversee 24/7 power reliability for critical facilities, including MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators and electrical safety to maximize uptime. You will lead technicians, coordinate with OEMs and contractors, perform switching and LOTO, manage spare parts and ensure compliance with HSE procedures.

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years in data centers are required; English is mandatory and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in data center/mission-critical facilities.
• Strong experience with critical power systems and LOTO.
• English required; Arabic preferred.
• Experience supervising technicians and coordinating with OEMs/contractors.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot MV/LV systems, transformers, generators, ATS, UPS and switchgear.
• Execute preventive/corrective maintenance and prepare MOPs per OEM requirements.
• Perform authorized switching, shutdown/startup, isolation, restoration and LOTO.
• Supervise electrical technicians and coordinate with OEMs/vendors for major maintenance.
• Respond to electrical emergencies and support RCA and corrective actions.
• Maintain electrical redundancy, reliability and operational resilience.
• Execute approved changes and ensure proper technical documentation.
• Manage critical spare parts, tools, testing equipment and calibration records.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, SOPs, MOPs, EOPs and site procedures.
• Support testing, commissioning and continuous improvement.
