Job summary

STC in Riyadh is seeking a seasoned cybersecurity operations leader to manage and enhance defenses across networks, systems, and applications, ensuring effective threat monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and risk mitigation.

You will drive continuous security improvements, conduct assessments, ensure compliance with frameworks and regulatory requirements, and lead awareness across operational teams to strengthen readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in cybersecurity operations.
• Experience leading SOC activities and incident response.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Strong English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous monitoring across networks, apps, and integrations.
• Oversee security controls implementation across assets and platforms.
• Lead SOC operations, threat detection, incident triage, and response.
• Analyze incidents, threat trends, and root causes; recommend actions.
• Drive vulnerability management, patching, and hardening activities.
• Coordinate with governance to maintain cybersecurity documentation.
• Provide risk insights and security recommendations to management.
• Apply threat intel to strengthen preventive and detective capabilities.
• Monitor metrics and SOC maturity; drive improvements.
• Lead security awareness and knowledge sharing within teams.
