Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company (SATORP) is seeking a Senior Corrosion Technologist to lead corrosion control and integrity programs at Jubail. The role emphasizes RBI, coatings, CP, and NACE/API standards, with extensive experience in oil/gas processing and welding aspects.

The candidate will support IOW compliance, review design packages, and mentor field teams. Willingness to relocate permanently to Jubail is required, with a track record in refinery corrosion/damage

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical or chemical) required.
• Extensive RBI and corrosion management experience in Oil/Gas.
• Knowledge of API, ASME, NACE, API-571/580/570 standards.
• Senior corrosion technology certifications preferred (NACE/API).
• Welding engineering and NDT knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Implement corrosion management program and on-stream monitoring.
• Troubleshoot and provide technical support for corrosion and assets integrity management.
• Conduct risk-based inspections based on API-580 methodology.
• Review and approve coating failure solutions and cathodic protection measures.
• Participate in HAZOP reviews and address all issues.
• Manage water treatment programs and optimize challenges.
• Review IOw compliance and validate material selections per codes.
• Assess feed composition changes and approve integrity solutions.
• Develop and transfer knowledge on coatings, CP, and corrosion controls.
