Job summary

UCC Holding in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to lead financial accounting and reporting for its construction projects. You will oversee project accounting, revenues, and cost controls, while ensuring IFRS compliance and robust governance across operations.

The role requires 15+ years in accounting/finance within construction or EPC sectors, with advanced SAP experience and professional qualifications preferred.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Experience with Tier-1 contractor/EPC or major construction orgs.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• ACCA/CPA/CA/CMA/ACA or equivalent preferred.
• Strong IFRS knowledge, especially IFRS 15 for construction contracts.
• Expertise in project cost accounting, WIP, EAC/forecasting, revenue recognition.
• Saudi VAT/ZATCA knowledge.
• Advanced SAP experience in finance and project accounting.
• Excellent stakeholder-management, analytical and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial accounting, monthly closing, and statutory reporting per IFRS.
• Oversee project accounting, including WIP, accruals, cost-to-complete.
• Ensure IFRS 15 revenue recognition for construction contracts.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Contracts, and Project teams for reporting.
• Oversee subcontractor and supplier accounting and reconciliations.
• Drive working capital and project cash-flow management.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi statutory requirements (VAT/ZATCA, etc).
• Manage audits, controls, and financial governance across operations.
• Lead and mentor accounting team; provide senior management insights.
