Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop communication strategies for specific projects and campaigns as directed by the Team Lead
• Provide input to crisis communication and reputation management initiatives ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals
• Support leadership in aligning communication plans with departmental objectives
• Execute internal and external communication plans including content creation media relations and public relations activities
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency in messaging and adherence to SEO best practices
• Monitor and report on the performance of communication initiatives recommending tactical adjustments to improve outcomes
• Oversee the creation of high-quality internal and external communication materials
• Ensure that all content follows SEO best practices optimizing it for search engine visibility to support JHAHs digital presence and drive online engagement
• Mentor junior communications professionals and guide them in the execution of communication initiatives
