Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our Service team in Riyadh. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship and uptime.

The ideal candidate has an ITI/technical certification and at least 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial vehicle maintenance, with strong diagnostic and repair capabilities across diesel engines, powertrain, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• ITI qualification or equivalent technical certification.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a technician in commercial vehicles.
• Proven experience in preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, diagnostics and running repairs.
• Strong technical understanding of commercial vehicle systems including diesel engines, electrical and powertrain.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, and running repairs on commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and powertrain issues.
• Carry out repairs involving clutch systems, brakes, and other vehicle components.
• Ensure repairs meet OEM standards and quality expectations.
• Identify additional repair opportunities and document technical observations.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain accurate technical reports and identify root causes.
• Follow workshop safety standards, ISO requirements, and SOPs.
• Support and guide junior technicians to ensure quality workmanship.
