Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive in Jeddah is seeking a skilled Service Technician for preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial vehicles. You will ensure uptime, deliver high-quality repairs, and maintain thorough technical reporting.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience, ITI or equivalent certification, and strong knowledge of diesel engines and powertrains. Travel to field sites may be required. A collaborative team environment and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• ITI qualification or equivalent technical certification.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in the Commercial Vehicle industry.
• Experience in preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and running repairs.
• Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle systems and components.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, and running repairs on commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and powertrain-related issues.
• Carry out repairs involving clutch systems, brakes, aggregates, and other vehicle components.
• Ensure repairs are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with OEM standards.
• Identify additional repair opportunities and provide technical observations to improve vehicle performance.
• Utilize diagnostic tools, workshop equipment, and special service tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain accurate technical reports and identify root causes of vehicle concerns.
• Follow workshop safety standards, ISO requirements, and company procedures.
• Support and guide junior technicians to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to repair standards.
• Participate in continuous learning and technical training programs to enhance product knowledge and technical expertise.
