Islamic Development Bank seeks a senior professional to advance climate action and green growth across mitigation, adaptation and resilience. You will lead technical work, coordinate consultants, and support knowledge sharing with regional hubs and partners.

The role emphasizes capacity development within the Bank and with member countries, plus mobilizing climate finance, reporting and external partnerships for impactful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Climate Change, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or related field; minimum 8 years in climate change and environmental project design/implementation.
• Experience with climate risk screening tools, GHG accounting, climate finance tracking and Paris alignment assessment.
• Familiarity with environmental and social safeguards of MDBs and with results-based management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver senior-level expertise across mitigation, adaptation, resilience, and nature-based solutions within climate action and green growth agenda.
• Coordinate and review deliverables of consultants and junior staff while developing capacity within IsDB.
• Support fundraising, knowledge sharing, and external partnerships to advance climate portfolio and reporting.
