Job summary

Egis Group in Riyadh seeks a detail-oriented Civil Inspector to join our team. You will conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with contract documents.

You will review materials, monitor progress, document findings, and coordinate with project managers, contractors and design teams to keep projects on track and within specifications. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 8+ years of experience in building projects, plus strong

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in civil construction inspection.
• Knowledge of Saudi construction regulations and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Strong reporting and communication skills.
• Proficiency in preparing inspection reports and documentation.
• Experience inspecting temporary and permanent works.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Inspect site conditions before construction and verify against design.
• Document existing properties and utilities affected by works.
• Ensure protection of structures and utilities during construction.
• Review materials and verify conformance with submittals and specs.
• Verify proper handling and storage of materials.
• Inspect works for contract documents and shop drawings.
• Maintain daily logs, reports, and test records.
• Monitor safety practices and report concerns.
• Assist in handover punch lists.
• Support start-up, testing and commissioning.
• Analyze progress vs schedules and specifications.
• Collaborate with PMs, contractors and design teams to resolve issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
