Job summary

Dar is seeking a civil inspector to supervise and monitor road, bridge, highway, and infrastructure construction projects in Riyadh. You will ensure work aligns with approved drawings, technical specs, quality, safety, and project schedules, reporting to the Project Manager.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with 7–9 years of relevant experience, strong coordination and communication skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
• 7–9 years of relevant road, bridge, highway or infrastructure experience.
• Experience in construction supervision or site execution.
• Knowledge of civil construction methods, drawings and specs.
• Familiarity with quality, safety, and site inspection requirements.
• Strong communication, coordination and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• GCC or Saudi Arabia experience preferred.
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities related to roads, bridges, highways, and infrastructure works.
• Review drawings, method statements, specifications, and project requirements before site work.
• Monitor contractors’ work for compliance with plans, quality and safety.
• Inspect earthworks, excavations, subgrade, asphalt, concrete, drainage and utilities.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, surveyors, inspectors and project team.
• Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports.
• Identify and report site issues, delays, quality concerns, and technical problems to the Project Manager.
• Verify completed work and quantities against drawings and requirements.
• Ensure materials on site meet approved specs and quality standards.
• Follow up on inspection requests, material approvals, and corrective actions.
• Attend site meetings and implement agreed actions.
• Maintain accurate site records, inspection documents and files.
• Ensure site activities are completed within the approved schedule.
