Job Description

Parsons are seeking a strong and experienced Senior Civil Engineer - Saudi National to oversee civil engineering packages on a major airfield infrastructure project. This role drives construction delivery, technical compliance, and coordination for large-scale civil works including pavements, utilities, drainage, and structural elements.

The ideal candidate has 8 years of experience leading civil works in complex infrastructure environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead civil engineering planning, execution, and technical decision-making.
• Review and approve civil design deliverables, method statements, and shop drawings.
• Oversee construction sequencing for airfield pavements, taxiways, networks, and foundations.
• Manage contractors’ daily performance, technical queries, and construction challenges.
• Ensure civil works properly interface with MEP, utilities, and airfield operations.
• Ensure works comply with project specifications, design requirements, ICAO/EASA standards, and QA/QC procedures.
• Validate material approvals, testing results, and inspections.
• Track progress, identify risks, and support mitigation planning.
• Prepare engineering reports, progress summaries, and interface updates.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years leading civil works on major infrastructure or aviation developments.
• Strong experience with airfield pavements, drainage, and utilities.
• Excellent civil engineering knowledge, site leadership, and design-to-construction coordination.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and engineering review tools.
• Experience with airport airside standards and aviation authority approvals.
• Knowledge of digital engineering platforms (Aconex, BIM 360).
• Strong stakeholder management capability.
