We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our team for a major infrastructure project in Riyadh under our Project Management and Construction Management (PMCM) scope. The ideal candidate should come from a technical/engineering background and will be primarily responsible for overseeing and reviewing technical submittals, including shop drawings, material approvals, and supplier pre-qualifications to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Review and approve shop drawings, ensuring alignment with design intent and project specifications.
Review and comment on material submittals and supplier pre-qualifications.
Coordinate with the design team, contractor, and client to resolve technical issues.
Ensure that all construction activities adhere to engineering standards, codes, and contract documents.
Provide technical guidance and support to construction supervision teams.
Participate in technical meetings and progress reviews with contractors and stakeholders.
Ensure timely response to RFIs and other technical queries.
Support the PMCM team in quality assurance and control measures.
Report to the Engineering/Technical Manager on key technical matters.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in the Middle East.
Proven experience working under PMCM or consultant frameworks.
Strong technical knowledge in reviewing drawings, specifications, and submittals.
Familiarity with international standards and local authority regulations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
PMP or relevant certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
