Senior Business Development Manager – Financial Services (KSA)
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (with local market travel)
Role Overview:
A Saudi-based financial technology and analytics company is expanding across the Kingdom and is hiring a Senior Business Development Manager to drive net-new revenue with banks, lenders, and regulated financial institutions.
The role requires a Saudi National with strong local market knowledge and the credibility to engage senior banking stakeholders independently.
This is a quota-carrying, individual contributor role focused on self-generated pipeline, complex sales cycles, and closing high-value deals in banking and credit-risk environments.
The role requires credibility in senior banking discussions and the ability to independently engage credit, risk, and lending stakeholders.
This is not an account management, partnerships-only, consulting delivery, or public-sector program role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own net-new business development across banks, lenders, fintechs, and regulated financial institutions in KSA
- Proactively source, qualify, and close opportunities with deal values ranging from SAR 1m to SAR 5m+
- Lead complex sales cycles involving credit risk, collections, lending, compliance, and executive stakeholders
- Confidently position analytics, data, and credit-focused solutions without reliance on presales for basic domain explanation
- Maintain a structured pipeline with clear confidence levels and accurate revenue forecasting
- Represent the business in senior client meetings, workshops, and industry discussions
- Work closely with product and presales teams to support complex deal execution

Required Experience (Must-Have)
- Background in banking, lending, credit risk, financial services, or selling into these environments
- Experience working with or alongside banks or consulting firms (Big 4) as clients, partners, or stakeholders
- Comfortable selling into credit risk, collections, lending, and finance teams
- Experience managing long, complex sales cycles (3–5 months)
- Strong outbound mindset with evidence of self-generated pipeline
- Ability to forecast pipeline using deal confidence and stage-based probability
- Fluent Arabic and strong business-level English

- A career consultant or advisory professional
- Primarily an account manager, relationship manager, or partnerships lead
- Focused on public-sector programs, tenders, or delivery-led roles
- Dependent on inbound leads or existing portfolios
- Unable to independently discuss credit risk, lending strategy, or collections

- Experience selling analytics, data platforms, SaaS, or decisioning solutions
- Exposure to credit risk, lending, collections, fraud, or compliance use cases
- Experience navigating RFPs and multi-approval banking environments
