Job summary

Gensler in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks an Architect to lead design solutions from concept through construction documents on mixed-use and retail projects. You will translate sketches into 2D/3D models, drive BIM workflows, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver high-quality visuals and documentation.

The role emphasizes sustainable design, coordination with consultants, and mentoring junior staff. A strong portfolio and Revit proficiency are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design; Master’s degree preferred.
• 6+ years of professional experience.
• Demonstrable work portfolio, preferably in several practice areas.
• Knowledge in sustainable design principles required.
• LEED, WELL, Fitwel, LFA or other rating systems accreditation preferable.
• Experience in sustainable design projects preferable, including LEED/WELL/Net Zero.
• Collaborative and integrated approach to achieving high sustainability goals.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of building codes, materials, specifications, and construction techniques.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver informed project solutions.
• Coordinate with project team, client, vendors, contractors and consultants.
• Resolve complex design and technical issues to produce innovative solutions.
• Ensure work meets client requirements with high quality and timely delivery.
• Participate in pre-design tasks and visioning sessions.
• Formulate design presentation strategies and present concepts to clients.
• Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings and physical models to communicate design ideas.
• Prepare full drawing sets in Revit.
• Contribute to the project’s financial performance.
• Lead junior staff and ensure quality and clear communication.
