Job summary

Yokogawa is seeking an Advanced Solution Engineer (APC) based in Saudi Arabia to support the delivery of APC and optimization solutions for industrial customers. The successful candidate will be involved in system deployment, engineering, testing, commissioning, and customer support, while developing the skills required to become a lead APC engineer.

Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking, OPC communications and databases, plus experience with APC, process historians, and DCS applications,

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in process industries, plant operations, automation, or solution engineering.
• Knowledge of Oil & Gas, Refining or Chemical plants.
• Knowledge of Process Control Systems, APC, Process Historians or DCS Advanced Control Applications; Yokogawa solutions experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure Advanced Solution software and hardware systems.
• Conduct FATs and support customer demonstrations.
• Perform site installation, commissioning and startup activities.
• Travel approximately 50% to customer sites within and outside the region.
