Job summary

UCC Holding in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to lead financial accounting and project reporting for major construction and infrastructure projects. You will drive IFRS-compliant monthly closes, statutory reporting, and robust financial controls across SAP and project accounting processes.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience in construction or project-based businesses.
• Experience with Tier-1 contractors or major EPC organizations; Saudi/GCC experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualifications preferred.
• Strong IFRS knowledge, especially IFRS 15 and construction accounting.
• Advanced SAP experience in financial and project accounting, cost controlling, reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial accounting, monthly close, and statutory reporting under IFRS.
• Oversee project accounting: WIP, accruals, provisions, cost-to-complete.
• Ensure IFRS 15 revenue recognition for construction contracts.
• Partner with Commercial, Contracts, and Project teams for reporting and forecasting.
• Manage supplier/subcontractor accounting and reconciliations.
• Drive AR, collections, working capital, and project cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with VAT/ZATCA and Saudi tax requirements.
• Oversee internal and external audits and maintain controls.
• Mentor accounting team and provide senior management insights.
