Job summary

Maseera is seeking an experienced accounting leader to oversee transaction processing, closing, and statutory reporting. You will manage budgeting, KPI analysis, and profitability reporting while ensuring VAT/Zakat compliance and strong internal controls.

Leadership of the accounting team and automation of reporting processes will be central, with exposure to ERP systems (Dynamics NAV) and AI tools (Manus, Claude) to accelerate decision-making and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of accounting experience with managerial responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, VAT, and Zakat.
• Experience with KPI management, cost optimization, profitability analysis, and process automation.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, and AI-based financial tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transaction processing, reconciliations, general ledger accuracy, and month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS and internal policies.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, Zakat, and ZATCA requirements.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, variance analysis, and KPI monitoring.
• Analyse margins, costs, inventory, working capital, and profitability by branch and department.
• Recommend actions to improve profitability, control costs, and optimise cash flow.
• Systemise and automate accounting, reporting, and reconciliation processes to reduce reliance on manual tasks.
• Use ERP and AI tools, including Manus and Claude, to accelerate reporting, improve accuracy, and support decision-making.
• Lead and develop the accounting team and report key financial insights to senior management.

• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, and AI-based financial tools is preferred.
