Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including the general ledger, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and payables/receivables.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; support month-end and year-end closing.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Coordinate external audits and prepare audit schedules and documentation.
• Prepare and file VAT returns; manage WHT calculations, filings and payments.
• Manage e-invoicing processes and reporting per ZATCA regulations.
• Manage payroll processes including salary calculations, deductions, and WPS compliance.

As a leading company in the defense and technology sector, we are looking to strengthen our team in Saudi Arabia with a Senior Accountant with solid experience in accounting and finance to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with Saudi tax regulations, and support financial reporting and audit processes.

What will you do?

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including the general ledger, account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and accounts payable/receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, supporting month-end and year-end closing.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting as requested.
• Independently coordinate external audits, preparing audit schedules and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and file VAT returns and manage Withholding Tax (WHT) calculations, filings, and payments in compliance with Saudi tax regulations.
• Manage e-invoicing processes and ensure accurate generation and reporting of electronic invoices in compliance with ZATCA regulations.
• Manage payroll processes, including salary calculations, deductions, WPS compliance, and timely processing of employee payments.
