Job summary

Eram Talent seeks an experienced CNC Programmer with 12+ years in machining, including 8+ years programming complex 5-axis or mill-turn/9-axis parts. Proficiency in Siemens Sinumerik, FANUC, Heidenhain, and NX CAM is required. You will optimize toolpaths, verify parts with CMM data, and ensure robust documentation.

The role demands strong capability to interpret drawings, select tooling, and resolve production issues while maintaining precision and efficiency on challenging alloys.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Production, CNC, or Machining Technology.
• At least 12 years CNC machining experience, with 8+ years programming/proving complex 5-axis or mill-turn/9-axis work.
• Expert-level multi-axis CAD/CAM programming and machine setup experience.
• Proficiency with Siemens Sinumerik, FANUC, Heidenhain, or similar controls and CAM platforms.
• Strong ability to read ASME drawings, materials, surface finishes, and inspection results.
• OEM-certified DMG MORI, Siemens, FANUC, PowerMill or equivalent training is preferred.
• Simulations certification and Siemens NX CAD/CAM/CAE certifications are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• CAD/CAM programming for 5-axis and 9-axis milling, turning, mill-turn, drilling, and probing.
• Define tool assemblies, offsets, collision checks, and prove-out methods for complex parts.
• Optimize cutting data, toolpaths, cycle time, and tool life without affecting quality.
• Diagnose program, post-processor, servo, and machine-interface issues on Siemens/ FANUC/ Heidenhain controls.
• Interpret GD&T, verify first-off with CMM/probing data, and maintain revision-controlled documents.
