Job summary

Client of Eram Talent is seeking a seasoned Multi-axis CNC Specialist to plan, program, and optimize complex 5-axis and 9-axis machining for Oil & Gas components. You will convert engineering models into safe, stable processes, controlling tooling, workholding, dimensional quality, and documentation.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years of CNC experience, expert CAD/CAM programming for multi-axis parts, and proficiency with Siemens Sinumerik, FANUC or Heidenhain controls.

Qualifications

• At least 12 years CNC machining experience in multi-axis environments.
• Bachelor's or diploma in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Expert-level CAD/CAM programming for 5-, 9-axis mills/turns; strong tooling and collision-avoidance skills.
• Proficiency with Siemens Sinumerik, FANUC, Heidenhain or comparable controls and established CAM platforms.
• Strong ability to interpret ASME drawings, material specs, surface finish and inspection results.

Responsibilities

• Create and prove 5-axis and 9-axis programs using Siemens NX CAM or equivalent software.
• Define tool assemblies, offsets, collision checks and safe prove-out methods for complex parts.
• Optimize cutting data, toolpaths, cycle time, coolant delivery and tool life.
• Diagnose program post-processor, servo and machine-interface issues on controls.
• Interpret GD&T and verify first-off parts with CMM or probing data; maintain revision-controlled programs.
