Overview

Currently have project demand in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and we're looking for an IT Security Engineering Manager to lead the Engineering team for a client within FinTech. We are looking for someone based in Riyadh for an initial 6-12 month contract with likelihood of extensions to follow. The role reports to the CTO and involves managing day-to-day security operations, incident response, and tooling ownership with team leadership, prioritisation, and executive-level reporting.

Responsibilities

You will lead a team of 3 people: Principal Engineer, Senior Engineer, and Security Analyst. Responsibilities include:

  • Manage day-to-day security operations (not a SOC)
  • Incident response and tooling ownership
  • Team leadership, prioritisation, and executive-level reporting
  • Collaborate with the CTO and other stakeholders to align security with business goals
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Strong engineering background with a security focus
  • Proven experience in Security Operations or Security Engineering
  • Hands-on experience across:
  • SIEM platforms
  • Cloud Security
  • Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR)
  • Security Operations tooling and workflows
  • Experience leading or mentoring security engineers
  • Ability to operate comfortably at both technical and executive levels
  • Technically hands-on operationally but able to report to the CTO as a Security Engineering Manager
  • Strong communication skills and a pragmatic approach to security
  • Experience leading a small team (Principal Engineer / Senior Engineer / Security Analyst)
  • Experience across SIEM, Cloud Security, EDR, and Security Operations tech stack
  • Desirable tools (not mandatory): SentinelOne, Oracle Cloud/GCP, CrowdStrike
Contract & Location

Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for an initial 6-12 month contract with likelihood of extensions. This is an on-site role in Riyadh.
