Job summary

A technology consulting firm in Riyadh seeks a skilled SAP Consultant to lead end-to-end solution design for SAP opportunities. You will own RFPs, collaborate with sales and technical teams, and engage customers through workshops. The ideal candidate has hands-on SAP experience and a strong background in presales activities across multiple SAP modules. This role offers an opportunity to act as a trusted advisor, presenting tailored solutions to meet client needs.

Qualifications

  • Strong prior hands-on experience as an SAP Consultant transitioning to Presales / Solution Architecture.
  • Experience across multiple SAP modules, including SuccessFactors, Ariba, and BW/Analytics.
  • Proven track record in presales activities and client engagement.

Responsibilities

Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end solution design for SAP opportunities, aligning business requirements with SAP best practices and technical feasibility
  • Own and contribute to RFP/RFQ responses, including solution approach, scope definition, assumptions, risks, and high-level estimates
  • Design SAP solution architectures covering functional, integration, and deployment considerations
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Delivery, and technical teams during the presales lifecycle
  • Conduct customer-facing workshops to gather requirements, validate business processes, and propose SAP-based solutions
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by translating business needs into SAP solutions
  • Present solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior management
  • Lead or support SAP demos and Proofs of Concept (PoCs) tailored to customer requirements
  • Showcase SAP capabilities across relevant modules and integration points
  • Support value articulation by mapping SAP functionality to customer pain points and business outcomes
  • Leverage prior hands-on SAP consulting experience to ensure realistic, implementable solution designs
  • Stay current with SAP roadmap, innovations, and industry best practices
  • Provide presales input to improve delivery methodologies and reusable assets
Key Requirements
  • Strong prior hands-on experience as an SAP Consultant, followed by a transition into Presales / Solution Architecture
  • Experience working across 2–3 SAP modules (functional or cross-functional), such as:
  • SAP SuccessFactors
  • SAP Ariba
  • SAP BW/Analytics
  • SAP Integration technologies
  • Proven track record in presales activities, including:
