Job summary

Merge Recruitment Agency is seeking a qualified HSE professional in Dammam to lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of occupational health and safety policies, programs and procedures. The role collaborates with management to ensure compliance with Saudi regulations and to protect learners, staff, and visitors.

The successful candidate will have 3–7 years in HSE, 2–3 years in manufacturing, English fluent with Arabic a plus, and proven team leadership in multicultural

Qualifications

Bachelor degree from a recognized university; technical qualification in Printing / Packaging will be regarded as a plus.
3–7 years at the HSE field.
Min 2-3 years of manufacturing company experience is a must.
Fluent in English; high proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
Proven team leadership record in a multi-cultural environment.
Familiar with ERP system.
Computer literate (Microsoft Office)

Responsibilities

To develop, implement and monitor Occupational Health and Safety Policy, Programs, and Procedures.
To assist the management in complying with health and safety legislation and regulations to protect learners, staff and visitors.
To establish budget proposals for the operation of the Occupational Health and Safety office and training programs.
To increase health and safety awareness at all levels within the organization.
To investigate and report on complaints of hazardous working conditions to the Associate Director and senior staff.
To respond to employees’ safety concerns.
To conduct safety inspections of facilities as necessary.
To assist the Management Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committees.
To respond to fires and other emergencies on or about the Company property.
To coordinate registration and removal of hazardous waste.
To receive reports from and respond to orders issued by HR Department.
To arrange for Occupational Health and Safety testing/evaluations of the workplace by external agencies.

Job description

To assist the management in complying with current health and safety legislation and/or regulations with the objective of ensuring that all reasonable and proper measures are taken to protect the safety and health of learners, staff and visitors.

To establish budget proposals for the operation of the Occupational Health and Safety office and specific training programs.

To increase health and safety awareness at all levels within the organization.

To investigate and report on complaints of hazardous working conditions to the Associate Director and/or other appropriate senior staff.

To respond to employees’ safety concerns.

To conduct, as necessary, the safety inspection of any facility.

To assist the Management Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committees.

To respond to fires and other emergencies on or about the Company property.

To coordinate registration and removal of hazardous waste.

To receive reports from and respond to orders issued by HR Department.
