Job summary

APCO in Riyadh is seeking a Communications Intern to support day-to-day client activities, assist with project coordination, content development and research, and help with campaign execution and presentations. The internship provides hands-on exposure to strategic communications and client work in a fast-paced agency environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree student or fresh graduate in Communications or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Interest in strategic communications, public relations and digital media.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating day-to-day client activities and internal communication across client accounts.
• Support the preparation of status reports, meeting notes, trackers, presentations, and client decks.
• Help track project timelines, deliverables, approvals, deadlines, and progress updates.
• Support campaign execution under the guidance of senior team members.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including PR, content, digital, and creative, to support smooth workflow.
• Assist in drafting communications materials, including press releases, media pitches, briefing notes, announcements, and other written content.
• Conduct research on industry trends, media developments, and relevant client topics.
• Contribute to campaign ideas, content planning, and presentation development.
• Assist with new business research and proposal preparation when required.
