Job summary

ABIS is seeking a Rigging Supervisor to oversee rigging operations on project sites in the oil & gas sector. The role entails planning, coordinating, and supervising rigging activities while ensuring safety standards and project requirements are met.

You will provide technical guidance, supervise personnel, and liaise with site engineers to maintain high safety and quality standards throughout the rigging process.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Rigging Supervisor in oil & gas.
• Strong knowledge of rigging techniques, equipment, and safety standards.
• Leadership and team-management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise rigging activities on oil & gas or relevant industrial sites to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Plan and coordinate rigging operations with project managers and site engineers.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks related to rigging activities.
• Provide technical guidance and training to rigging personnel.
• Maintain documentation of rigging activities, equipment inspections, and personnel certifications.
• Identify and resolve any issues or hazards during rigging operations promptly.
