Job summary

Arabic Meals Co is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for the restaurant sector to lead accounting, cost control and financial reporting across multiple branches. You will oversee GL, AP/AR, treasury, and ensure strong internal controls while aligning with delivery platforms and POS systems.

The role requires five years of hands-on restaurant accounting experience, expertise in Food/Labor costs, and knowledge of Odoo and Foodics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on accounting experience in restaurant/F&B.
• Strong expertise in accounting management and cost control.
• Experience in multi-branch restaurant operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of POS reconciliation and delivery platform settlements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounting function, month-end closing, and preparation of financial statements.
• Manage General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, bank accounts, and treasury operations.
• Manage cost accounting, inventory, COGS, purchasing, and branch profitability.
• Monitor sales, settlements, commissions, and collections from food delivery platforms.
• Prepare and analyze branch P&L, Food Cost, Labor Cost, and other financial indicators.
• Reconcile POS sales, cash, card payments, and delivery platform settlements and investigate discrepancies.
• Oversee Odoo and Foodics and ensure integration between operations and accounting data.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
• Strengthen financial controls and minimize waste, leakage, errors, and discrepancies.
• Lead and develop the accounting team across branches.
• Ensure adherence to accounting procedures and documentation across all branches.
• Ensure compliance with ZATCA requirements including VAT and taxes.
