• Minimum 15 years of experience delivering industrial, logistics, and/or warehouse projects.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Previous site-based client representative, consultant, or construction supervision experience.
• Strong understanding of FIDIC-style contracts and contract administration.
• GCC experience is required, with Saudi Arabia experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, coordination, reporting, and escalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary site-based client representative through HCO during the construction stage.
• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and monitor compliance with drawings, specs, method statements, and baseline programme.
• Administer the contract and issue contractual notices.
• Manage construction sequencing, coordination, and interfaces between trades and disciplines.
• Identify construction risks, delays, and non-compliances and elevate with recommendations.
• Lead site inspections, quality reviews, NCRs, corrective actions, and quality close-out processes.
• Monitor project progress and support recovery planning.
• Provide accurate site progress information to the Project Controls Manager.
• Enforce project HSE requirements and monitor contractor safety performance.
• Support testing, commissioning, and final handover readiness.
• Coordinate with contractors, developers, vendors, and client-appointed stakeholders.
• Prepare site reports, technical observations, weekly progress reports, and dashboards.
• Maintain accurate site records and audit-trail documentation.

We are seeking an experienced Resident Project Manager – Construction/Engineering to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role will act as the site-based client representative during the construction stage of a major industrial/logistics facility, overseeing construction execution and ensuring compliance with approved designs, programme, quality, HSE, contractual requirements, and client standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary site-based client representative through HCO during the construction stage.
• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and monitor compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and baseline programme.
• Administer the contract and draft/issue required contractual notices.
• Manage construction sequencing, coordination, and interfaces between different trades and disciplines.
• Identify construction risks, constraints, delays, and non-compliances and elevate them with clear recommendations.
• Lead site inspections, quality reviews, NCRs, corrective actions, and quality close-out processes.
• Monitor project progress, identify critical-path risks and slippage, and support recovery planning.
• Provide accurate site progress information to the Project Controls Manager.
• Enforce project HSE requirements and client safety standards and monitor contractor HSE performance.
• Support testing, commissioning, and final handover readiness.
• Coordinate with contractors, developers, vendors, and other client-appointed stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience, with strong experience delivering industrial, logistics, and/or warehouse projects.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in a site-based client representative, consultant, or construction supervision role.
• Strong understanding of FIDIC-style contracts and contract administration.
• GCC experience is required, with Saudi Arabia experience preferred.
• Strong construction management, site supervision, quality, programme, and HSE knowledge.
• Experience working with international clients and strict project standards is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, coordination, reporting, and escalation skills.
• Native Arabic speaker with strong English communication skills.
• Must be available for a full-time, site-based role in Riyadh.
