Job summary

NOV is seeking a skilled Repair and Inspection professional in Saudi Arabia to manage repair dispositions, NCR handling, and vendor collaboration for NOV drilling equipment. The role emphasizes adherence to local and global NOV procedures, with leadership responsibilities during SPS and major projects.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in repair and inspection, strong reading of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic schematics, and proficiency in ERP/Tracker systems and cost estimation.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma in a related field is required.
• 3+ years of repair and inspection experience on drilling equipment.
• Knowledge of drilling equipment repair processes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Issue repair disposition after D&I following NOV procedures.
• Issue repair disposition of NCRs and perform RCA.
• Assist vendors with technical support during repair processes.
• Lead and assist the repair team during SPS and major jobs.
• Identify and develop vendors for repair of NOV equipment and support WPS qualification.

• Issue repair disposition (Machining, Weld, Coating, inlays, Pressure Test, FATs) after D&I following all NOV local and global procedure.
• Issue repair Disposition of all NCR raised during repair process & perform RCA.
• Assist Vendors with Technical support during all repair process with NOV Equipment’s.
• Lead and assist the Repair Team during SPS and other major jobs.
• Identify and develop Vendors to repair of NOV Equipment’s, Support Vendors for WPS Qualification.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Facility/Group Specific Responsibilities

• Improve efficiency with development of Tools / Instruments / New Equipment’s
• Identify and develop new vendors for repair process.
• Review QC inspection report.
• Assist QC team to develop & review SOW for repair.
• Assist Planning Team to finalize scope for quotes including BOM.
• Assist planning team to provide cost estimation of 3rd party repairs.
• Assist Purchase group to identify local source parts.
• Perform PIB checks during Repair process of equipment at all stages.
• Closely work with Shop Supervisors and provide necessary support.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
• Comply with all ARM Company and HSE policies and procedures

Education/Qualifications

• Engineering Degree/Diploma in related field.

Experience Required

• 3+ Years Work Experience in Repair & Inspection of Drilling equipment
• Knowledge in Drilling Equipment Repair process.

• Well verse to read mechanical drawings, electrical & hydraulic schematics.
• Computer & Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge.
