Job summary

Haven Scientific in Thuwal, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced part-time CFO to own cash visibility and fundraising readiness. The role is 10–15 hours per week with mostly remote work and one onsite day each week.

Initial 3-month engagement with potential extension based on results. You will build a rolling 12-month cash forecast, lead cash planning with the CEO, prepare financial models for investors, and produce monthly management reports with external accountants.

Qualifications

• Experience as CFO or senior finance lead in startups with fundraising exposure.
• Strong financial modeling and cash management skills.
• Experience with KSA compliance (ZATCA, GOSI).
• Biotech, healthcare, or capital-intensive experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a rolling 12-month cash forecast and runway model.
• Lead cash planning and prioritization with the CEO.
• Prepare the financial model and finance materials for investors.
• Produce a monthly management report, working with external accountants.
