Job summary

The successful candidate will prepare financial statements, maintain records, and handle payroll and tax duties, while supporting budgeting and forecasting with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting or finance role.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy is a must.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
• Conduct account reconciliations on a regular basis.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Process payroll and ensure timely payment of salaries.
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential issues.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Communicate financial information to management and provide recommendations for improvement.
