Job summary

DataAnnotation seeks an experienced bilingual professional fluent in Arabic and English to help train AI models. You will create realistic prompts, evaluate AI outputs, and provide detailed feedback from a native speaker's perspective.

This independent contractor role offers flexible scheduling, work from home, and paid hourly projects starting at $25–$40+ per hour, with occasional bonus rates. Applicants in Saudi Arabia, Iraq or the United Arab Emirates will be considered.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Arabic and English.
• Strong command of grammar, style, tone and register in both languages.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to explain your judgments clearly in writing.
• Experience in translation, interpretation, teaching, editing or bilingual professional work is a plus.
• A current, in-progress or completed Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Write prompts and conversations in Arabic and English, drawn from your own experience.
• Evaluate AI responses for accuracy, fluency, grammar, tone, register, and whether it followed the request.
• Compare two AI responses to the same prompt and decide which performed better and where they fell short.
• Explain your reasoning clearly when critiquing translations, conversations, summaries and content.
• Flag concrete failures with evidence such as mistranslations, overly literal phrasing, or cultural missteps.
• Contribute across a wide range of language tasks and subject areas.
