Job summary

RTC1 Recruitment Services seeks a Reliability Engineer (Saudization) for a leading tissue producer in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on RCA, RCM and FMEA to enhance equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.

You will monitor MTBF/MTTR, analyze KPIs, and use CMMS/ERP systems (SAP PM) to drive preventive and predictive maintenance in collaboration with production and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• CMMS/ERP maintenance systems experience, preferably SAP PM.
• CMMS/ERP systems experience with strong analytical, troubleshooting and technical reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct RCA and equipment failure investigations; identify recurring breakdowns and implement corrective and preventive measures to improve machinery reliability.
• Apply RCM and FMEA methodologies to optimize maintenance strategies and minimize unplanned downtime.
• Monitor MTBF, MTTR, equipment availability and other reliability KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
• Utilize CMMS/ERP maintenance data to identify equipment trends and collaborate with production and maintenance teams to improve plant efficiency.

Job Description:

• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and equipment failure investigations, identify recurring breakdowns and implement corrective and preventive measures to improve machinery reliability.
• Apply Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) methodologies to optimize maintenance strategies and minimize unplanned downtime.
• Monitor and analyze Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), equipment availability and other reliability KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
• Utilize CMMS/ERP maintenance data to identify equipment trends, improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and collaborate with production and maintenance teams to enhance plant efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in equipment reliability, maintenance engineering or asset performance management, preferably within tissue paper or continuous-process manufacturing.
• Strong practical knowledge of RCA, RCM, FMEA, MTBF, MTTR and equipment reliability improvement, with proven experience investigating equipment failures.
• Proficiency in CMMS/ERP maintenance systems, preferably SAP PM, with strong analytical, troubleshooting and technical reporting skills. CMRP certification or equivalent is preferred.
