Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Network & Systems Engineer - Lead to support, build, implement, and improve technology solutions across sites in a defined geographical area. You will manage large regional projects, resolve critical incidents, and expand knowledge in software patterns, data structures, AWS technologies, and distributed systems.

The role includes leading and mentoring teams, authoring SOPs, and collaborating with internal teams and vendors to deliver infrastructure improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years IT client/server and network service delivery.
• 4+ years IT systems or relevant production environment experience.
• 4+ years of networking (DNS, DHCP, SSL/TLS, OSI Model, TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting).
• 4+ years of Windows/Linux administration or Cisco IOS (CLI).
• Experience with end-to-end IT infrastructure buildout for new sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Technical Operations & Infrastructure across multiple facilities.
• Drive regional projects from conception to completion with minimal guidance.
• Automate manual tasks and improve tooling for efficiency.
• Provide expert technical support across buildings and remote sites.
