Job summary

Ericsson seeks an experienced RAN Integration Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of Radio Access Network integration across 4G and 5G environments. You will act as the technical authority, guiding modernization, optimization, and successful customer transformation programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Extensive experience in RAN integration, deployment, and network evolution projects across 2G/3G/4G LTE and 5G technologies.
• Strong knowledge of 2G, 3G, LTE and 5G technologies, network architecture, protocols, and integration processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end RAN integration activities for 2G, 3G, 4G LTE and 5G networks.
• Define solution architectures, integration strategies, and implementation plans.
• Ensure successful deployment, commissioning, testing, and acceptance of network solutions.
• Serve as the technical escalation point for complex integration issues.
• Collaborate with customers, project managers, operations teams, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth delivery.
• Drive adoption of Cloud RAN, Open RAN, virtualization, and automation initiatives.
• Review network designs and implementation plans for quality and compliance.
• Support presales activities, technical proposals, and customer presentations.
• Identify risks and mitigation plans to meet milestones.
• Mentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

The skills you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in RAN integration, deployment, and network evolution projects to cover all RAN technologies.
• Strong knowledge of 2G, 3G, LTE and 5G technologies, network architecture, protocols, and integration processes.
• Experience with Ericsson RAN solutions, OSS/ENM platforms, and network management systems.
• Understanding of Cloud RAN, Open RAN, virtualization, and modern telecom architectures.
• Knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages such as Python or Ansible is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and manage stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in dynamic, multi-vendor, and geographically distributed environments.
• Professional certifications in telecommunications, cloud, or 5G technologies are a plus.
