Job summary

A manufacturing company in Jeddah is seeking a QC Inspector to ensure product quality through in-process inspections. The ideal candidate will have a higher diploma and at least one year of experience. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, preparing reports, and maintaining documentation. You should possess knowledge in MS Office and have good command of English. This role requires the ability to work in rotating shifts and under varying environmental conditions.

What You Will Enjoy Doing
  • Conducts in-process inspection of the production line as per the Daily inspection plan (CAQ) and entering the inspection results in the CAQ.
  • Verifying the effectiveness of line clearance and give green signal for production to start packing the goods.
  • Prepares the daily inspection results in the CAQ.
  • Update the line clearance checklist at the machine.
  • Maintain the line clearance folder.
  • Prepares the daily inspection results in the CAQ.
  • Update the machine sample box of approved samples at the machine for each changeover (part of line clearance).
  • Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in their respective areas.
  • Conduct additional inspections required.
  • Following the SOPs as defined by supervisor and manager.
Inline inspection
  • Conducts in-process inspection of the production line as per the Daily inspection plan (CAQ) and entering the inspection results in the CAQ.

Quality Inspection
  • Conducts product evaluation as per test procedure required by the product/specification and based on daily inspection Plan (CAQ), entering data in the CAQ (applicable for normal production also for AQP test samples).
  • Responsible for putting the Quality hold or reject sticker on non-conforming products (if necessary) either from in-process inspection measurement checks or during spot checks in the warehouse & block them in ALPLA Stock.
  • Maintain the in-house calibration for CMM & Magna mike
  • Prepares the daily inspection results in the CAQ.
  • Prepares the Certificate of Analysis.
  • Monitor the temp. and humidity inside lab.
  • Update the counter storage samples at samples cabinet (last run samples).
  • Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in their respective areas.

  • Candidate must complete at least the higher diploma.
Experience
  • Minimum 1-year experience as QC Inspector
Qualifications/ Skills/ Personal Competencies
  • Knowledge in MS office (Excel, Word)
  • Good in verbal and written English.

  • High level of energy.
  • Must be able to work on rotating shifts, call out, weekends and overtime (if required).
  • Able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold.
