Job summary

Arabian Oud in Riyadh is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to ensure raw materials, in-process and finished products meet quality standards across the manufacturing process. You will lead inspections and testing, coordinate with Production and Laboratory teams, and maintain comprehensive quality records to support CAPA and GMP compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least one year of QC/QA experience, with strong English skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, Quality Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance in manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of GMP, SOPs, quality control procedures, inspection techniques.
  • Experience inspecting raw materials, in-process and finished products, packaging materials.
  • Familiarity with quality documentation, non-conformance management, root cause analysis, CAPA.
  • Strong attention to detail with analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
  • Good command of English, written and spoken.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams under tight production timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and monitor the quality of raw materials, including fragrance oils, oud, alcohol, and packaging materials, before use in production.
  • Conduct inspections and quality tests on in-process and finished products according to approved specifications and quality standards.
  • Monitor production lines to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality requirements, and approved acceptance criteria.
  • Identify, document, and follow up on non-conformities, including root cause analysis and recommendations for corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Record inspection and testing results and prepare periodic quality reports.
  • Coordinate with Production and Laboratory teams to investigate and resolve quality issues while maintaining production continuity.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements across production areas.
  • Monitor the calibration status of measuring and testing equipment used in quality control activities.
  • Support initiatives to reduce defect rates, material waste, and production losses while improving overall manufacturing efficiency.
  • Support internal and external quality audits and ensure the required documentation and records are available.
  • Maintain accurate and organized quality records, including inspection reports, test results, non-conformance reports, and corrective action records.

Job Purpose

The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring that raw materials, in-process products, and final products meet approved quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.   • Ability to work collaboratively with Production, Laboratory, and other cross-functional teams under tight production timelines.
