Overview

Tamkeen Technologies is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to monitor and improve the quality of our operational processes and outputs. The role involves designing and developing quality standards and processes, building effective quality control systems, and evaluating performance to identify and implement corrective actions. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to ensure that processes and products consistently meet established quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a cross-functional agile (Scrum/Kanban) team ensuring high quality from requirements definition to delivery.
• Produce testing artifacts such as Test Plans, Test Cases, test data, test execution reports, etc.
• Execute various types of testing including system, integration, regression testing, performance, etc.
• Develop and implement quality standards.
• Communicate test progress, risk and other relevant information to the product team and other stakeholders.
• Keep improving the test efficiency by being open and innovating on new tools.
• Investigate and troubleshoot product or production issues, and assist with customer issues to identify defects and the steps to reproduce them.
• Train and mentor junior staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or a related field.
• Minimum Experience: 4-6 years of experience in quality assurance / control.
• Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities): Understanding of Agile principles, and familiarity with Agile-SCRUM practices.
• Solid knowledge of different test types and automation testing concepts.
• Experience in test automation in any tool (preferred Cypress).
• Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal).
• ISTQB Certified.
