Qualifications

• Proven experience as a QC Welding Inspector in the heavy industry or metallurgy sectors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of welded components to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Review and interpret welding drawings, specifications, and procedures to ensure proper execution of welding tasks.
• Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, including ultrasonic, radiographic, and magnetic particle testing, to assess weld quality.
• Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports, highlighting any non-conformance issues and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and implement quality control procedures and best practices.
• Provide training and guidance to welders and production staff on quality standards and inspection processes.
• Participate in audits and quality assessments to ensure compliance with ISO and other relevant standards.
• Monitor welding processes and equipment to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes affecting welding quality control.
