Job Description
Position Summary

The QC Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and ensuring the implementation of all mechanical quality control activities on Saudi Aramco projects. The role ensures strict compliance with Aramco standards, project specifications, international codes, and approved procedures. Aramco approval (SAP Number + CBT qualification) is mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities
Mechanical Quality Control Oversight
  • Supervise and monitor all mechanical QC activities on‑site for Aramco projects.
  • Conduct routine inspections and surveillance of mechanical systems, equipment, welding, fabrication, and installation works to ensure compliance with Aramco standards.
  • Verify and review mechanical QC documentation, including ITPs, method statements, WPS/PQR, and checklists.
Compliance & Standards
  • Ensure all mechanical work strictly follows Saudi Aramco codes, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Perform pre‑inspection checks and support FAT activities as required.
Non‑Conformance & Corrective Action
  • Identify, document, and close out non‑conformance reports (NCRs); follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
Coordination & Communication
  • Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, vendors, and Aramco representatives to resolve quality issues.
  • Lead or participate in quality meetings and inspections.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, NCRs, and quality reports.
  • Prepare QA/QC reports and submit them to site management and Aramco quality teams.
  • Supervise QC inspectors and mechanical technicians.
  • Provide training and guidance on quality requirements and QC procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
Mandatory
  • Saudi Aramco Approval as QC Mechanical Supervisor (SAP Number + CBT Qualification).
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in mechanical QC for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Aramco projects.
Preferred Certifications
  • ISO 9001:2015 certification (priority).
  • Strong knowledge of Aramco engineering standards and mechanical codes.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and mechanical specifications.
  • Excellent communication, reporting skills, and team leadership abilities.
  • Attention to detail with strong problem‑solving capability.
