Responsibilities
  1. Monitor and ensure that the electrical activities are executed in compliance with the scope of work, approved design, project technical specifications, industry and client‑specified standards, and method statements.
  2. Implement the Project Quality Plan, Quality Control Procedure, ITP, and checklists.
  3. Implement the Algihaz Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015) at assigned projects.
  4. Review material submittals before submission to the client.
  5. Carry out internal inspections for the work executed by the operations team or subcontractors.
  6. Inspect all incoming materials with reference to the MIRN inspection procedure and ensure their storage complies with the MSDS and handling & storage procedures.
  7. Submit daily and weekly inspection look‑ahead schedules to the client and consultant.
  8. Raise inspection requests (RFI/RMI) as per SOP, ITP, and Schedule C, and coordinate with the client’s representatives to get their approval.
  9. Implement and use automation management tools such as Unifier, Oracle systems, etc.
  10. Review, inspect, and monitor subcontractor activities on‑site to ensure adherence to QMS requirements.
  11. Attend weekly meetings with the client and submit periodic reports as required.
  12. Promptly address customer complaints received in any form (NCR, observation, site instruction, logbook, audit, etc.) and conduct regular follow‑up for effective closure.
  13. Coordinate regularly between different departments (internal and external) such as client, vendor, and subcontractor, and strive to resolve any issues that arise.
  14. Issue quality alerts, observations, and non‑conformance reports to the concerned parties for any non‑compliance with standards, specifications, SOPs, policies, etc., and conduct regular follow‑up for effective closure.
  15. Conduct Quality Toolbox Talks (QTBT). Prepare lessons learned and record them in ECM.
  16. Submit weekly reports to the Quality Management Office through the Quality Management & Tracking System (QMTS) and the quality tracker.
  17. Maintain all quality‑related documents and records in ECM, and archive hard copies.
Required Skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written in the English language.
  • Proficient user of MS Office (MS‑Word, MS‑Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong math and average computer skills are required.
  • Good at Archiving and record keeping.
  • Problem‑solving skills and attention to details.

Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.

Experience: A minimum of 10 years of working experience in Electric Utility Industry, Telecom, Control Centre, Power Distribution, LAN, Servers, Automation, Small power & Lighting and Substation Projects.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Control.

Professional Certifications: SCE Certified, Client approval as QAQC Electrical Engineer.
